I know, probably if you look out of the window you wouldn’t say that, and yet Summer has gone and for the most of us holidays are now a distant memory. It’s time to renew our wardrobe and be prepared for autumn rains giving space to the new season and its many latest fashions.

Ralph Lauren style is contemporary and sophisticated as ever, in full accordance with city life. Dolce and Gabbana suggestions are aggressive and futuristic while Balenciaga show a multiethnic and folk collection in which shades of different cultures are gathered together harmoniously.  Black and white stripes as well as grey nuances characterize Armani collection. On the contrary Versace collection is dominated by colours.

Elegance and refinement are the monarchs of fall-winter to Ferrè, while Roberto Cavalli chose a wild and strong style alternating dappled, gold and metallic fabrics.

And when it come to accessories aggressiveness dominates showing herself thorough studs, padlocks, black patent leather. The accessories by John Richmond are just an example as well as Gucci and Fendi collections

“Photopercezioni” photographic exhibition of  Riccardo della Chiesa is now in Palermo.

This exhibition is a great tribute to woman’s beauty .

The style of the photographs is very particular and unique. Yesterday morning, at our Giglio In store, there was the press conference to present the exhibition that aroused a good interest amongst the participants.  

The opening is taking place on 19^th April, at 7.30 pm, at Palazzo Sambuca. The exhibition will continue as well at Palazzo Bonagia and at the EXPA club. No charge for admission.

The event immediately aroused many news items. Several articles were published for example by  the newspapers: La Repubblica” and “Il Giornale di Sicilia”.

La bellezza femminile in “Photopercezioni”
E’ un tributo totale alla bellezza della donna, vista attraverso l’immagine fotografica, “Photopercezioni”, la mostra di Riccardo dalla Chiesa che s’inaugura alle 19,30 in contemporanea a Palazzo Sambuca, a palazzo Bonagia e da Expa. Tema conduttore della mostra dell’artista romano, nipote del gencraleCarlo Alberto, è la bellezza femminile, rappresentata non come icona o idolo, ma come identità mobile che si manifesta conun gioco di chiaro-scuri e profili. Visite da martedì a domenica dalle 16 alle 20, ingresso libero.

Riccardo Dalla Chiesa «Photopercezioni» fra acciaio e cristallo
Donne sensuali, angeliche, aggressive o materne. Fotografie che con l’uso di luci e materiali innovativi diventano altro, schiacciando l’occhio alla scultura. Nella mostra itinerante Photopercezioni di Riccardo Dalla Chiesa (nipote del generale Carlo Alberto) che si inaugura oggi alle 19,30, alla Cavallerizza di Palazzo Sambuca (via Alloro 36). Suggestive fotoinstallazioni materiche che dopo Roma, Parigi e Rari giungono a Palermo, dove verranno esposte alla Kalsa lungo un percorso in tre spazi, tutti nella via Alloro: la Cavallerizza di Palazzo Sambuca (civico 36), Palazzo Bonagia (al 52) e la galleria Expa (al numero 97). Foto tradizionali e sperimentazioni d’avanguardia, connubi fra fotografia analogica e digitale, pittura, e incisioni. Paesaggi e, soprattutto, figure femminili resi con materiali e tecniche di stampa innovat i-ve, come quella a sublimazione su acciaio specchiato o su cristallo. Di particolare effetto il plexiglass stampato in modo speculare o il cristallo tatuato che conferiscono tridimensionalità all’immagine quasi trasformandola in scultura e facendo apparire il soggetto come sospeso nel vuoto.Acura diAurelio Pes.
