Spring and summer 2009 are more colourful than ever! This new season it’s not only solid colours but as well mixed colours in floral prints and see-trough fabrics which makes it even more light and expressive!

Colour has been essential on the international catwalks this S/S! Florescent colours, birght colours, dark colours every possible and imaginable colour is great and top fashion this year. But the largest part were though orange, green in different shapes, sky blue, light blue and pink to red. An especially popular new comer this spring is yellow that shocked the catwalks!

Versace made different beautiful yellow and sky blue creations this S/S that can’t go unobserved!

The Moschino Cheap&Chic collection have some amazing dresses in ocean green, clear blue and pink in different fabrics, in silk but also some made with mixed fabrics like cotton and see-trough fabrics.

Designers like Alberta Ferretti and Gucci this year have put together different shapes of purple such as violet, plum, lavender and lilac. Because purple is still top fashion this season as we can see all over the catwalks!

Finally as long you mix thousands of colour and creativity you will reach the perfect S/S fashion 2009!

The Jackie bag is one of the brand’s so called icons. Created in the fifties this bag soon became Jacqueline Onassis’ favourite accessory, who later was dedicated the bag and there for the name. Today, the New Jackie bag, created by the inspired directress Frida Giannini for the new S/S collection 2009, is a compliment to the original model, from which just a few but significant details has been modified to reinterpret our contemporary lifestyle.

The already extremely original and modern bag in its first version, has maintained its peculiar shape, with rounded angles, the half moon shape and the cylindrical handle. Now richer with even more astonishing details like the tassels with bamboo detail, the seams, now in various dimensions and in a new and softer structure.

New as well are the colours, like the beautiful and vivid red seen up the page, accompanied by the classic colours in leather Guccissima and the GG Crystal fabric.

A gorgeous Lucy Liu has been photographed by Mario Sorretini to cover the April issue of Vogue China. For cover shoot she wore a creation by Roberto Cavalli. It’s a strapless minidress with striped bustier and balloon skirt of the Roberto Cavalli S/S collection 2009.

Among the other look she shows up inside the fashion magazine one that stands out is a Versace golden tone minidress of the S/S collection 2009.

Tod’s new shopping bag, the G-Bag, is dedicated to Gwyneth Paltrow who is the brand’s excellent testimonial. Made in different dimensions and materials it easily transforms from shoulder bag to hand bag. The G-Bag is one of the main designs of the new Tod’s collection.

From the colored bags and the ones in resistant cotton to the ones in leather the Italian brand’s handmade tradition still remains the protagonist. The balance between style and handiness is perfectly combined in this new bag, which is designated to be one of the Spring’s Must Have. In Occasion of Sky TV Awards, which awards the most creative programms on air on Sky, the host Giorgia Surina wore a long luminous light blue Moschino dress.

The journalist and host of sport programs Ilaria D’Amico instead decided to wear Roberto Cavalli.  A fabulous long red and black Spanish inspired dress.

 A Spring must-have is the trench coat, which comes back in new versions every year, but yet always have a safe and special place in every fashion addicted person’s wardrobe.

Obviously as every evergreen even the trench coat must get updated in new styles and types year after year. Besides the new versions with new colours, prints and different lengths the classic ones does still vividly exist.

Black, white, eye-catching pink or checked are the new short trench coats of this Ice Iceberg Spring/Summer collection. Extremely feminine and original!

For the TV show ‘I Raccomandati’ with the popular Italian singer Enzo Ghinazzi, in Italy known as Pupo, Elizabeth  Kinnear will wear Ermanno Scervino creations throughout the series.

Special for the first episode the English model wore the eye-catching short dress made in pink organza, from the new Ermanno Scervino Spring/Summer collection. Combined with platform sandals in the same colour. 

In one of the episodes of the Italian version of the reality show ‘Celebrity surviver’ the same dress was worn by the Argentine model Belen Rodriguez, this time though in light blue.

The new Prada Primitive bags  have in their name the essence of the collection: the desire for nature and origins. The main characteristic is the crumpled aspect of the materials and their soft shape.

The aspiration to came back to wild nature and primordial atmospheres was previously announced at the fashion show by the S/S collection and then by the ad campaign. The crumpled and deconstructed dress are perfectly complemented by bags.

Colours and materials emphasize the search for primitives dimensions and nature with a real protagonist: python. Primitive bags are realized in soft leather but there are also jacquard nylon versions or the particular python skin printed nylon bag with lateral leather bows.

A bridal bouquet is the perfect picture to represent the new Frankie Morello Fall/Winter 09/10 collection. That’s true not only because of the floral explosion on the pants with appliqués and printed jackets but especially because it look like the whole collection has been created with big petals and bows.

Pants like flowering meadow, skirts like blossomed roses and dresses like giant cockades remind showy bouquets or a big sweet wedding cake. Colours in the collection are sometimes the soft marriage ceremony nuance such as light pink, powder tone, cyclamen-colour. Other times gaudy colour appear, like green, fuchsia and orange.

Ruffles are absolutely the protagonist of this Moschino Cheap&Chic Fall/Winter 09/10 collection as they appear almost everywhere even on the most classic clothes. They are on sheathdress, on skirts and ¾ sleeve jackets.

The fashion show started with Carla Bruni singing Celentano’s “Via Guck” song. The leitmotiv of the new Moschino Cheap&chic collection is humor that is a characteristic of the brand itself. Main colours are fuchsia, yellow, golden, light brown, sometimes used in a monochrome version while others mixed up. The most remarkable details are the unbelted belt and the shoes, half sandal and half pump.
