High heels have always had a special appeal, a synonymous to femininity and sensuality. This year, different to the commune heels, we find some really architectonic highnesses. Plateau, stilettos, chunky heels or full of strass and wedge heels appear to be created simply to challenge the sense of vertigo!
Subtle and curved towards the sole is the icon heel of Roger Vivier, evergreen of the world when it comes to stilettos. Miu Miu instead goes for bamboo this spring/summer collection 2009, where pumps with maxi platform and heel are made in cork. This last material can be find as well in the shoes of Christian Dior combined with shinny colours.
Definitely more rock and rule-breaking the style signed Gucci and the Iman sandals, half stiletto half gladiator. Super plateau for Giuseppe Zanotti, like so for Prada and its platform sandals in raffia.

A fusion between the new ethnic spirit and the traditional research of refine materials are the base for the new Dior Savane Chic bags and accessories collection.
