We are really excited to announce the opening of our new fashion store Giglio Accessori dedicate to the world of accessories, that complemented our other seven luxury fashion boutiques.

The opening party is fixed for tomorrow, June 12, from 6 pm. All the client of our shops will be entertained by a cocktail party to celebrate with us this new great adventure.

The pictures show a preview of the large and elegant rooms of the new store Giglio Accessori. In this store you will find all the sneakers and the shoes of sportswear collections of the most prestigious brands, like Gucci, Prada, Dior, D&G, Fendi, Giorgio Armani, John Richmond, Hogan, Tod’s, Cesare Paciotti, and Pirelli.

The Jackie bag is one of the brand’s so called icons. Created in the fifties this bag soon became Jacqueline Onassis’ favourite accessory, who later was dedicated the bag and there for the name. Thanks to its unique and essential style the Jackie bag has with time passing maintained its appeal remaining one of Gucci’s top designs, a luxury object fixed to last in time.

Today, the New Jackie bag, created by the inspired directress Frida Giannini for the new S/S collection 2009, is a compliment to the original model, from which just a few but significant details has been modified to reinterpret our contemporary lifestyle.

The already extremely original and modern bag in its first version, has maintained its peculiar shape, with rounded angles, the half moon shape and the cylindrical handle. Now richer with even more astonishing details like the tassels with bamboo detail, the seams, now in various dimensions and in a new and softer structure.

New as well are the colours, like the beautiful and vivid red seen up the page, accompanied by the classic colours in leather Guccissima and the GG Crystal fabric.

Casual or smart boots, flats or high heeled, in leather, suede or gum… In any case boots are one of the most popular winter woman’s accessories. Whichever your style is in your wardrobe will be always a pair of comfortable, practical, seductive, irresistible boots (maybe more than one!).

Boots have always been an instrument of seduction for women, but their history is connected with man’s wardrobe. Complement to military uniforms, perfect footwear for hunting and sport, indispensable accessory for British gentleman, boot conquered also woman’s fashion. From the beginning of the Sixties, when Balenciaga took them to haute couture fashion shows, boots had definitively mastered the Seventies, usually matched with miniskirts.

Fringed boots:

Undoubtedly fringes are the strongest trend of the fall-winter 2008/09. They became very popular last summer and they will come back into fashion also next summer 2009, both on accessories and on clothes. Suggested by many designers, among the most successful items there are Gucci boots of sure, designed by Frida Giannini. They have a folk and rock style like all the new Gucci Babouska collection.

The possible styles are numerous, we can move freely from folk and gypsy to boho chic, certainly all in a seventies style interpretation. Rock and glamour boot, as those of Gucci, wore on a trendy mini dress, on a mini skirt or with a pair of jeans for a Pocahontas city version, even with a matching amulet-bijoux and plaits.

The suede boot:

It can be used to make soft and low items, or to make long and narrow high heeled boots, suede gives a sophisticated and refined touch wrapping around the leg like a smooth glove.

Among wedges and platforms (that are one of the most popular trends of this year) as regards boots emerge an innovation: we are speaking of boots with a narrow boot leg above and that below become larger and larger as far as covering the thin wedge. Provided with a double buckle on the calf, the peculiarity of this shoe is the pointy toe in contrast with the round shape dominating this winter’s fashion. The Gucci  Hysteria collection for next autumn – winter 2008/09 suggests new folk inspirations adding a new texture to the previous summer version of the bags collection. It is the upholstery chalk coloured texture with leather trims. Guccissima leather and the GG texture, icons of the maison, the GG crystal texture that up to now reflect the summery colours, are going to embody the winter flavour with icy and chocolate tonalities.
