This is the first man collection for Tommaso Aquilano and Ruggero Rimondi, the two new artistic directors of Ferrè fashion house. The fashion house’s DNA is almost respected from the architectural refinement that had always marked the work of his founder.

Elaborate jackets and coats with shoulders in evidence. These are the elements that link the new direction with the past. The new is given by trouser, real proof of novelty and experimentation from Aquilano and Rimondo that modify its silhouette aiming at a most tapered shape.

The colours used are white, black and grey in its gradations. However total black is the style that most of all find its place in this new men 2009/2010 fall/winter collection.

The two designers brought news on the Milano Moda Donna stage, re inventing the traditional asset of the maison towards newer horizons. Elegance and attention to details, the richness and peculiarity of fabrics, they all remain as main guide line, an heritage from the master Gianfranco Ferré. Add to that, a new conception of shapes, of cuttings and volumes.

The whole collection reveals an evident expression of contemporaneity, visible in the geometric cuts of shapes, whose rigid designs, specially for the shoulders, are evident. More than that, steady rouches laying over sculptural dresses and skirts, precise silhouettes and strong cuts.
