Summer is at its peak and cold seasons not very close yet. Nonetheless, when it comes to fashion, stars don’t even care about climatic situations.

The red carpets of the most glamorous and posh events, from spring till now, have been a perfect fashion show, and not just for the spring - summer creations. Movie premieres, parties, kermesse and fahion events have been the occasions to show off in advance the new fall - winter 2008/09 collections of which stars enjoyed straight away, while ordinary people will have to wait for them to be accessible.

Here below, few images of the most important designers and the celebs who have been wearing their creations for the next season.

GUCCI
Madonna and Rihanna are just two of the many celebs choosing Frida Giannini’s next winter creations for the maison Gucci.

CHRISTIAN DIOR
Stunning actresses Eva Mendez, Charlize Theron and Liv Tyler in Dior’s style whose fall - winter collection brings us back to the elegance and eccentricity of the 60s.

VERSACE
Models Gisele Bundchen and Claudia Chiffer preferred the sensuality of Versace’s style, like many other celebreties who have already been showing off the creations of the maisons for next fall - winter collections.

ROBERTO CAVALLI
Roberto Cavalli’s fall - winter collection was a hit among stars. Lucy Liu, Ester Canadas and Leona Lewis have already been wearing over hot seasons numerous Cavalli‘s creations.

We have just started enjoying the summer, and the new advertising campaigns for the cold seasons already began filling up magazines and posters. Today we are going to introduce the 2008/09 autumn winter Just Cavalli advertising campaign. Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin clearly transmit through their pictures the real soul of the collection, entirely dedicated to the 70s. Flowers and trims on dresses and blouses, the images above show a Kate Moss with a rock band indulging in a fabulous mini skirt and long boots, as to emphasize the rebel and wild nature of these shots.

Guest star Leona Lewis at the London’ s Hide park charity concert to celebrate Nelson Mandela 90th birthday. The singer was in a Roberto Cavalli dress from the autumn winter collection 2008/09. The British singer, winner of the UK edition of X Factor, showed off a striped dress with a flowery fantasy that looked terrific according to us.

Hundred per cent Roberto Cavalli style for the new Cavalli spring summer 2009 collection dedicated to man by the famous stylist from Florence. The leitmotiv of the collection is the memory of far away and suggestive voyages whose colours and fantasies awake the desire of evasion and love for life and adventure.

Contrasts of volumes and exceptional combinations of colours for this collection focusing our attention on the thin silhouette of the shirts and jackets, and on the wideness of trousers. Roberto Cavalli’ s man is a free voyager playing with his clothes in a synergy of life and memory.

Animal printed long dress: this is the first shot anticipating the whole advertising campaign by Roberto Cavalli for his autumn winter collection 2008. The peculiar style of the brand is clearly stressed in the image above, clearly coherent with the high impact language, so typical of Roberto Cavalli’s creations. The shot is from Inez Van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin whose model is Isabeli Fontana.

The actress was wearing this dress from the spring summer collection 2008 by Roberto Cavalli. Madonna already wore the same dress for the Cannes Film Festival together with a Dior bag of the same kind of the one pictured on the right below.

The Cannes Film Festival has concluded and has given us a myriad of fabulous red carpets, each of which we saw a parade of celebrities with dresses and accessories of the best designers of the international panorama.

As always the Italian designer labels have been selected from numerous stars who have worn the creations of the most prestigious designers like Roberto Cavalli, Alberta Ferretti, Versace, Dolce & Gabbana, Giorgio Armani… obviously other great international fashion houses are not missed among which one of the preffered ones have been Christian Dior.

The designer Donatella Versace was also present at the event which decorations has been taken care of by the maison Versace.

The event didn’t miss prestigious international designers like Valentino Garavani and Alberta Ferretti:

The very beautiful Mila Jovovich, for the closing evening of this edition of the film festival, has chosen a turquouise dress by Versace.

Sean Penn, president of the jury for the assignment of the Gold Palm, wore a stylish tuxedo by Giorgio Armani.  

At Cannes, to participate in the Film Festival, the American actress Misha Barton was seen around the Azzura Coast in a lovely short dress from the 2008 spring summer collection by Roberto Cavalli.  The floral prints on the dress also appear on other creations of the designer for the summer season and they are made in varying plum and stawberry coloures on soft silk.

For the party of Ferretti and Chopard, held during the festival, Barton wore a long dress also by Roberto Cavalli.  Also in this case floral prints appear on a light dress and with a emphasized sixties inspired detail to finish off her hairstyle.
