Classic and elegant, contemporary and informal at the same time. Armani’s man enjoy choosing and he does it consciously knowing how to wear either formal or sportswear items. Spring summer 2009 Emporio Armani collection main colour is grey with a bit of white and blue that finely match with it.

We carry on with our proposal for the autumn-winter 2008/09 ad campaigns. After admiring Roberto Cavalli and Jimmy Choo, it’s Armani’s turn now, with the pre autumn Giorgio Armani and Emporio Armani collections.

Two different campaigns with a soul in common that combines the fleetingness taste and the ethereal and intangible nature of elegance, represented by shadowing colours and images that, specially for Emporio Armani are stressed out by an essential black and white as sophisticated as the collection itself. Du Juan lends her look to Giorgio Armani’s campaign. The model Freja Beha Erichsen, who had already posed for Balenciaga and Gucci, is in fact Emporio Armani’s testimonial for the Pre-Fall collection 2008 ad campaign.

This is THE event organized by the National Chamber of Italian Fashion, whose protagonist is, twice a year, man fashion. Four days, from the 21st to the 24th of June 2008, entirely dedicated to the Milan Man Fashion Spring Summer collection 2009. On stage, as usual, all the best of Italian and not only Italian brands with their collections for men with names like Roberto Cavalli, Versace, Gianfranco Ferrè, Prada, Gucci….

23third of June: Gucci, John Richmond.

The temperatures are rising to a dizzy height and the city is becoming a red hot territory, the comfortability and lightness of the attire become priority.  So it becomes necessary to find the correct compromise between elegance and practicality, and it is here that light clothes ,allowing us at the same time to be stylish whether at the sea or in the city, become the protagonists of the summer.

The shorts, other than to be comfortable and light, is further also the ideal solution to be really at ease in every situation. This piece of clothing, a true pass-partout of the warm season, offers the advantage to choose among a wide range of  lengths and the models suitable to the different occasions of the day, also according to the fabric, prints and of the materials in which they are realized.

The collaboration between Giorgio Armani and Alicia Keys is now settled. The renowned Italian designer and the world-famous pop star are very close tanks to a strong friendship. Alicia loves the elegant and contemporary style of Armani who has dresses her on several occasions and designed her entire “As I am tour” wardrobe.

For her exhibitions Alicia will wear garments of the Armani’s collections that have been realized for her and the dancers on several colours. Among the creations of the designer there is a crocodile waistcoat, with Swarovski crystals, to be worn with the jeans Armani dedicated to her.

Dancers and musicians will wear a range of garments of the Emporio Armani collection.

Armani doesn’t change the key aspects of his style with his new Emporio Armani fall winter collection that seems to be designed for a woman who lives the busy life of the city and still doesn’t give up the pleasure of night life. Ultra-flat shoes, classic suits, wide-leg trousers or boy-style ones alternate with short dresses, crystals and glittering details, pretty skirts and embroidery. Colours derive from black and grey nuances, perfectly consistent with Armani’s style, with just a few of magenta details.

Giorgio Armani dedicates his Emporio Armani collection to the respect for the human being and his beauty, to the pure passions, the return to values and to the real elegance. Warm and roomy garments are the protagonist of the 2008/2009 fall winter men’s collection, for the city as for the mountain. The main piece is blazer, to be worn with full trousers  in jogging-style. Accessories are protagonist in this collection as they literally cover man from head to foot.

The dress changes continuously by becoming tinged with different colours, being enriched by new materials and taking new shapes. This year it’s the turn of the little balloon dresses, like those of the Just Cavalli and Emporio Armani collections. Two different ways of seeing the same clothing item and the same trend. Just Cavalli collection is sexy and naughty while the Emporio Armani collection is sparkling and charming.
