The world of fashion has always been close to the film industry. Giorgio Armani is maybe one of the biggest example as he have designed the wardrobe of many and many international film production. We can remember “American gigolo” and the most recent episode of the Batman saga, The White Knight, just to name a few of the movies Giorgio Armani collaborated for.
Valentino even immortalized the most significant moments of both his private life and career as a fashion designer in the documentary-film “Valentino. The last Emperor”.
The next designer to be involved in the film industry is Tom Ford, considered as one of the most handsome man of the moment. His new venture? To direct a movie.
The title of the picture will be “A Single Man”, and there will be great actors such as Colin Firth and Julianne Moore.
The movie is the film adaptation of a Christopher Isherwood’s novel, published in 1964.
It deals with the life of a gay man, a professor, after the unexpected death of his partner. That will be the plot of the movie which shooting are planned for this month.
